EmoVision is a forward-thinking health-tech startup dedicated to transforming the way mental health is understood and addressed in young people. At the heart of our innovation is the EmoVision mobile app — an intelligent, user-friendly platform designed to detect early signs of depression and anxiety in adolescents and young adults.

Leveraging cutting-edge AI, EmoVision provides a non-invasive tool for monitoring emotional well-being through video. Our mission is to empower young individuals, families, and mental health professionals with timely insights that can lead to early intervention, better outcomes, and a more proactive approach to mental health care.

At EmoVision, we believe that emotional wellness is just as vital as physical health — and with the right tools, support can be just a tap away.

EmoVision – AI-Powered Depression Detection for Teens

EmoVision is a breakthrough mobile app that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to help detect early signs of teen depression, stress, and anxiety—right from your smartphone. Using cutting-edge facial expression analysis, voice analysis, and text processing, EmoVision listens when teens might feel unheard, flagging potential concerns before they spiral.

Whether it's a quiet cry for help or a tired voice in a voice note, EmoVision reads between the lines. Designed with privacy and compassion at its core, the app offers a non-invasive, always-there ally that empowers teens and families to act early and support mental well-being.

How it works:

1. Guided Questions: The app prompts you with a series of mental-health–focused questions.
2. Video Responses: You record short video answers in your own words.
3. AI Analysis: Our model combines visual, audio, and text features to provide an instant depression screening.

EmoVision isn't just an app. It's a lifeline.

Hello, my name is William Wang.

I believe every feeling deserves to be seen and heard especially when it's hard to express.

The news of local high school students committing suicide over stress from academics was heartbreaking for me. Living in the same competitive school district and seeing students’ stress and anxiety first hand, I decided to start EmoVision, a company dedicated to using technology to support youth mental health. Our mobile app uses advanced emotion recognition to detect early signs of depression, anxiety, and emotional distress in young people.

By providing insights into mental health, EmoVision empowers caregivers, educators, and mental health professionals to intervene early before silent struggles turn into crises.

Our mission is simple but urgent: to help prevent youth suicide by transforming hidden emotions into visible signals for care, connection, and hope.

We’d love to hear from you! Whether you have questions, feedback, or just want to say hello, feel free to reach out.
